President Teal Maedel
Term: 2008 - 2009
Teal is Canadian eh, from Vancouver, B.C., where she works in forensic psychology with the Correctional Service of Canada and the RCMP. Teal is the former president of the Adlerian Psychology Association of B.C. and is an adjunct faculty at the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Vancouver. She serves as the past chair on the Pacific Region National Joint Committee of Criminal Justice Officials and is a director on the board of the BC Criminal Justice Association.

Al Milliren
Chair, Education and Professional Development Committee
Al Milliren, Ed.D., N.C.C., B.C.P.C., is Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling and Team Leader for the School Counseling program at Governors State University in University Park, IL. He also serves as adjunct faculty for the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor, is Board Certified in Professional Counseling, and holds the Diplomate in the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology. Al has been a junior high school counselor and teacher, an elementary school counselor, and a Professor of Counseling at Illinois State University and at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He is a national and international workshop presenter and has authored or co-authored several books and numerous articles on Adlerian Psychology and related topics.
Joyce A. DeVoss, Ph.D - Treasurer

Joyce is a licensed psychologist in Tucson and Associate Professor in Educational Psychology at Northern Arizona University. She maintains a private practice, working with individuals, couples and families. Her NASAP experience includes affiliate representative, Director of Finance and Grants, and current Treasurer.

Edward Mel Markowski, Ph.D. Profesor Emeritus, Marriage and Family Therapy Program, College of Human Ecology, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.; former Interim Dean of Human Ecology and Chair of Child Development and Family Relations; Fulbright Scholar of Psychology at Comenius University, Bratislave, Slovakia. Diplomate in Adlerian Psychology, Diplomate and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Susan Belangee, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Counseling Psychology at Holy Family University. Her clinical and research interests include Adlerian theory and counseling, eating disorders, college counseling, and college student development. Susan began her Adlerian training during her doctoral program at Georgia State University where her mentors were Roy Kern, JoAnna White, Fran Mullis, and Bill Curlette
