On December 14th, 2011, Rob Guttenberg was honored along with 14 other individuals at the tenth anniversary celebration of the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP).
The ceremony took place in the Great Hall at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. Rob, along with 14 other persons with disabling conditions was profiled in a new ODEP publication titled: Promoting Positive Change:Disability Employment Policy in Action. The ceremony included speeches by, U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis, Kathleen Martinez, Assistant Secretary of Labor, Mr. Kareem Dale, Associate Director, White House Offfice of Public Engagement & Special Assistant to the President for Disability Policy, U.S. Senator Tom Harkin from Iowa and Steny Hoyer, House Democratic Whip from Maryland.
